O'SIDE BELOVED HISTORIC PIER
Oceanside’s love affair with its pier began 125 years ago when the first piling was driven into the sand at the end of Couts Street. Although the relentless waves and violent storms have destroyed the pier over the years, Oceanside continues to rebuild its a beloved landmark.

At 1,942 feet, Oceanside Pier is one of the longest wooden piers on the West Coast! Take a leisurely stroll out over the Pacific Ocean, watch the surfers ride a wave, fishermen catch a fish, or grab a bite at the much-anticipated new eatery.

THE TOP GUN HOUSE
"The Top Gun House" is an Oceanside architectural gem. Most famously known for its role in the movie of the same name featuring Tom Cruise in 1980's. The home built in 1887 is now the last best existing example of a historic ocean front Queen Anne Cottage. The cottage has been temporarily removed from its site to allow for the development of a hotel. It will return as an ice cream parlor...keep an eye out for it!

Adjacent to the historic Fin Hotel, the Switchboard space was commandeered as a switchboard-operating center in support of the World War II effort. Chef Justin Haupt spent almost a decade on Maui and Kauai mastering his culinary skills. BLADE

WRENCH AND RODENT

Spanning 12,000-square-feet, Pacific Coast Spirits was founded by head distiller Nicholas Hammond. At his Oceanside facility, Hammond is making gin, vodka, brandy, an agave spirits, and variations on whiskey that include bourbon, white whiskey, and the aforementioned single malt. This cocktail bar and farm-to-table restaurant serving lunch and dinner. Executive chef Nick Shaller’s menu of shareable plates ranges from local fish crudo to a sampler of housemade bacon and fried chicken with a cornbread waffle that’s made from the distillery’s spent grain.
